Fire Safety Training

This course is aimed at employees with responsibility for identifying fire hazards and implementing risk control measures.

On completion of the training, delegates will have a sound understanding of the following principles and this will help to fulfil the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Key content of training:

• Causes and characteristics of fire
• A practical approach to preventing fire starting in the workplace and preventing its spread.
• Key principles of fire detection, raising the alarm, fire fighting and evacuation to a place of safety.
• Role of a fire marshal.A practical demonstration on the safe use of fire extinguishers (subject to venue considerations).
